There's no wonder that so many of us expect FAST results when it comes to losing weight and
body fat.  Just look at the titles of many magazine articles on losing body fat and inches, and the
one thing that jumps out at you is how "easy," and "fast" everyone claims it is to lose.  Wrong!
there's nothing easy and fast about doing it the right way, the healthy way.  Creating a healthier
lifestyle for yourself is multi-faceted, but make no mistake about it, exercising must be one of the
elements that you include!

Without giving an opinion on these articles, I can say that, in my opinion, the emphasis on fast
results gives a lot of people unrealistic expectations, and understates the crux of the matter.  That
is that the healthy and safe reduction of body fat and inches, and the creation of a healthier
lifestyle that will last a
lifetime takes time!  Learning to incorporate daily exercise into your life,
and make healthier lifestyle choices is a process.  You take it one day at a time.  And if (when) you
make a mistake and not stick to the plan, or find that you're not progressing as quickly as you'd
like,
you don't give-up, but instead get right back into it - you stick with it because "consistency"
is a major factor to your success.
While it's not as popular to say this, I always tell my beginning
clients who have come to me to lose body fat/inches that "if you didn't go to bed one night thin,
and then woke up the next morning overweight, don't expect to lose your body fat overnight - it
just doesn't work that way."

My interest in helping clients reduce body fat/inches is to get results that will last.  To do so in a
safe manner, and in a way that helps them create a new lifestyle that includes exercise and
healthier life choices to help them keep it off.  I have worked with countless clients who have
come to me after spending years of "yo-yoing" between losing and then gaining it back.  If this
describes you, then you know what I mean about consistency.  Having short-term success isn't
satisfying, nor is it what most people are after.  You want to lose it and keep it off!  For many, this
means making a decision to finally make some tough choices to change their lives.  But although
tough, the choice to do this is also very "freeing."  What I mean by this is that once you've decided
that your choice to lose is
long-term, and not just a one-shot deal, you then realize that missing
one day of exercise, or any other "step back" from the plan, is just temporary, and that the next
day, you get back to the task at hand.

My emphasis is on helping you
lose and keep it off!
